4. Recycling brines natural and anthropogenic origin.

In the industrial production of potash fertilizers is present production waste - brine. This technogenic waste accumulate sludge ponds. Brine is also formed during leaching quarry extraction rock, forming large lakes with high concentrations of calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium. The composition of the brines formed by the concentration of elements in the field of extraction and storage of various, but its impact on the natural environment in the event of a spill - equally devastating.

The project proposal is counted by the example of places of ecological disaster Dombrowski career Kalush district, Ivano-Frankivsk region of Ukraine with the approximate composition of the brine CaSO4 - 2,92; MgSO4 - 65,64; MgCl2 - 16,42; KCl - 47,67; NaCl - 193,53 g / l and the total concentration of about 326 g / l, which is formed by dissolving rock precipitation.

Level brines is constantly increasing, threatening to overflow over the edges of dams and tailings career, brine produces soil erosion, moving towards the river Limnytsia from which threatens to fall into the river Dniester, destroy living creatures and vegetation of the rivers, to deprive the majority of the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine of the drinking water.

We do not agree with: the proposal evaporation about 50 million m3 of brine and backfill soil career in 21 years with a cost of $ 1.0 billion; expectations of the disaster and liquidation of its consequences at the expense Europe and the people of Ukraine.

We offer to our original non-waste technology to recycle brine into useful commodity products - salts of magnesium, calcium, potassium, sodium, with a yield of $ 150 for each cubic meter of brine.

The technology is suitable for the development of salt deposits, which only in the Carpathian region of Ukraine has more than 20. Mature technology is is also suitable for other brines natural and anthropogenic origin (including bischofite) of different salt concentrations. This gives the opportunity to create the production of "mature products" (marketable chloride, sulfate, carbonate, nitrate, magnesium, calcium, potassium and chlorine, soda) - original materials for the manufacture of fertilizers, magnesium metal and refractory materials, building materials and so forth.

Problem of a safety retention technogenic waste not only in Ukraine, Russia and around the world enough.

World volumes of raw materials and of the market until it is impossible to specify exactly, but it is obvious that they make many billions of tons and have boundless prospects for development.

Only lenses bischofite Russia, stretching from the mountains to the South Urals mountains of the North Caucasus in their development by the proposed technology can compete with the economic potential of the oil fields.
